I do believe facing the truths we buried deep inside is beneficial in the long run, if we can handle the uncovering process. 😅 If I was president of Wencilliatopia, I would offer free therapy to everyone starting at 13 years old. Hopefully this would make everybody healthier and we would save lots in other areas...
I really want to learn Russian so I can read Tolstoy and Dostoevsky in their original language. I think I am missing out, even if I already get all the feels reading them in English.

I recently noticed that I have a sort of noise add*ction. Somehow, there is always something playing in the background.
A YouTube video, a podcast, music, a friend’s voice messages.
I am not sure that I even truly enjoy it (except the voice notes, ahah), but it is always present.
Often, I feel so overstimulated, yet it is also hard to turn off the noise for an extended amount of time.
So, sometimes, when everything is too much, I sit down and paint. I paint until I am tired of painting, and then I take a nap. It is funny how being an adult often equates to treating one’s self like their own toddler.

I am currently rewiring my brain to live in the moment instead of nurturing the constant fear of failure that has been hindering my every move for as long as I can remember. As an overthinker, it is hard to reduce the thousands of questions fighting in my head to the most important ones. The best things I have done for myself this year all implied accepting to be bad at something in order to have a chance to become good at them some day. ♥️

With the way rents have been rising in Montreal, I must say that I make sure to utilize my home to the fullest. As an introvert, I tend to romanticize my private environment and solitude a lot. Every furniture, every plant, every new addition to that space is carefully choosen. I am not yet to the point when I can afford every piece of furniture or art that I desire, but one step at a time, I decorate my nest and make sure it feels safe and comfortable.
I love my @logandria pillowcases because they look so fun and peculiar on my very beige couch. I find that they work particularly well in the jungle of my studio-atelier. I hope there will be more pillow cases release! Hihi, I love Logan's work and it's so nice to see other creatives thrive! 🤭♥️
I am also very grateful to be able to work with people I believe in! ✨️ That matters so much to me.

Summer. Shouldn't there be a rule for things to sl

Summer. Shouldn't there be a rule for things to slow down during this season? I just want to be outside, eating tamarin sorbet, taking funny photos of my lover, and writing letters to my family. I am convinced summer should be about community. We should be baking bread, growing flowers, basil and tomatoes to share so that the people who work in supermarkets can take a little vacation instead of working until 11pm to serve the rest of society for minimum wage. They should be outside. We all should be outside, really.
Of course, this all sounds rather simplistic. I wish it were all that simple. I want to write, paint, and capture beauty around me. That is what I truly desire. That and tamarin sorbet. Feeling sensitive as always.
