I have been wanting to publish this review for a few months now but somehow got overwhelmed as usual. This set is one of the last styles released by the British brand Tutti Rouge and is part of their classic collection. Minx has indeed everything it takes to be a classic everyday bra style.

This black plumetis mesh and lace bra comes in sizes 30D to 38HH and the coordinate in size XS to XXL. It’s been a long time since the Tutti Rouge label released a wired bra that isn’t part of the Rougette range. I was actually surprised when this one came out.

Velvet has been really in trend for the past couple of years and this set has a lot of little velvety details. The velvet accents create a black on black contrast which is a nice way to make a basic a little more interesting. The velvet covered wires and velvety dots and bows are quite lovely.

The fit:

In my opinion, this design is likely to work with a lot of people since the bra cups are made of stretchy mesh and lace. The wires are a bit wide and the gore is very low, so it doesn’t hurt my thorax.

I rarely find a plunge bra that works for me, as I am really full on bottom. I would say that this one works quite well thanks to the elasticity of the fabric. I feel like I am in between size as usual, since I have to shorten the straps a lot to get as few wrinkles as possible.
I received the bra in size 30GG and I wish I could try a 30G. In fact, since I need to shorten the straps a lot to make it fit without wrinkles, the side edges of the bra are bothering my armpits. Apart from this issue, I believe that in the right size, this bra would be quite comfortable. The band is true to size and the straps are fully adjustable featuring heart shape sliders.

The coordinate:

The high waist brief is my favourite part of this set. I received a size Small and it fits nicely.  It is quite stretchy and comfortable. I especially like the back and these 3 key holes adorned with cute satin bows. The back edges are also VPL free. You’ll also find velvet accents, which give a nice structure to this design.

To be honest one of the best plunge bras I have tried is the Tutti Rouge Jessica and I wish this one was a little bit similar fit-wise.
However, this is a very affordable set and a nice basic. I believe it would fit full on top and full on bottom breasts quite well. The size range is wide and if you aren’t a fan of high waist briefs you can also pick the brazilian brief option. 🙂
