Hey guys! It’s been a while and I am so sorry for my absence. I have been traveling and things got real overwhelming real quick. I have many things to show you, a tons of reviews sitting in my draft file, and a trade show report that is rather exciting too.
But today is about comfort. Something I really need after running around for the last 10 days, and you probably do to.

Loungewear is becoming more and more important for me. I realized that good loungewear can make me feel just as good as a warm bath or a facial mask. When I was younger and I was seeing nice satin slips in lingerie stores, I usually didn’t feel concerned because I thought they would look weird on me. Being a 30 or 28 G+ young woman, means that you often have to deal with buying clothes in a larger size to make your breasts fit. Well, at least that is what I was thinking back then. Now I have some tricks to make things work when they aren’t made specifically for me, like playing with bra fit etc… Or just wearing whatever I like and decide that I still look good.

With that being said, it’s always a blessing when I find clothes that were made with my shape in mind and that is what today review is about. Nk iMode recently reached out to me so that I can introduce you guys to their amazing Morgan silk chemise and of course, I couldn’t say no. Actually, the brand offers a variety of luxury loungewear pieces made to provide bust support, such as bralettes, camisoles and chemises.

I love that they offer different patterns and silhouettes. I believe that depending of your body shape and personal tastes, you can easily find something for you in that selection. Most of their products are made from pure silk or stretch silk which is made sustainably in their family factory in Suzhou, China.

Yesterday, the brand launched their new collection which features soft, spring-inspired colorways such as Blue Mist (like the chemise I am wearing), Cherry Blossom and Powder pink.  Everything looks delicate and comforting and I believe it’s always nice to put on a bit of colour when you reach home after any winter day. Luminous colorways won’t give you Vitamin D but I believe they can still make you feel glamorous and amazing.

I received the Morgan chemise in size Small. I already owned a slip from this brand in size Medium and I felt like I could probably size down. So, I am so glad it all worked out. Initially, I wasn’t sure if I would like the colour as I am more of a burgundy/emerald kind of girl but I think this Blue Mist colourway looks beautiful.

The Fit:

I am currently in between a 30G and 30GG so I was really wondering how supportive this piece could be. I wasn’t sure if going for a Small would be a good idea, but didn’t want to have an extra loose underbust elastic either. Note that my underbust is rougly 28″ and my bust 37″. However, when I tried the chemise for the first time, I was quite amazed by the amount of comfort it provided. It isn’t like wearing a bra or even a bralette, but it is just enough to make you forget about your breasts while you are at home.

The underbust elastic finds its place under my breasts and doesn’t move which is appreciated. I have been quite active at home while wearing this slip and it wasn’t a problem. Since it has a V neckline, my breasts don’t stay perfectly inside the “cups” when I sleep, which is to be expected if you have projected breasts, I believe. That isn’t a big problem for me though. I just love the touch of silk against my skin. It’s such a special material.

The lace is lined with mesh on the inside, so it’s pleasant to wear and should keep its shape for quite long.The straps are adjustable and don’t slip off my shoulders. I honestly wouldn’t mind having several colorways of this slip as it has been such a pleasure to put on since I got it.

This collection is inspired by the New-York state of mind, and this is exactly what I am about at the moment. I just want to feel lighter, peaceful enough to go ahead and conquer the world. Just being myself, ready to do lemonade with all the lemons that the world will throw at me this year.
