A lot of you guys asked me about affordable and supportive bralettes lately. I think I have now a lot of bralettes reviews on this blog, but a few more for 2018 won’t hurt.
Luckily, I recently received a nice set that fits into that description : Parfait Dalis.
I have written a very detailed review of it along with other lingerie pieces for The Lingerie Journal this month, but I thought, it would be nice to have a trace of it on this blog. I will simply make it quick.
First of all, this set is one of the comfiest I have tried this year. Made of 95% modal and 5% spandex, Dalis is very soft to the touch and very supportive. The material has the perfect amount of stretch to be pleasant to wear but also durable.
I love that they made an effort to make it look cute and versatile. I think if I had to buy it, I would go for the black colorway and wear it as a crop top.

[Parfait Dalis in 32G and Small]

The construction is very appropriate for full busted customers. The wide underbust band doesn’t roll or move through the day and replaces wires pretty well in term of support, at least in my size. The presence of side boning helps the bralette to stay into place. At the back, you’ll find three sets of four hooks and eyes, as well as the option of a racer back. This adds to the versatility of this bralette and provides even more uplift if that is what you are looking for.The band feels a bit tighter than a regular 32G, which is perfect for me, but the available volume seems true to size. I find this bralette to be very flattering and not “flattening” at all. That being said, I don’t like to wear it with very fitted clothes as it makes my breasts look wider than bras do. It’s perfect for weekend’s super casual outfits or lounging around the house.
I am not super fan of the hipster brief fit, because the hips elastic is both wide and tight against my hips. I think a size Medium would probably help with that. However, the back coverage is very nice and practical. It doesn’t create VPL and is quite flattering. It’s still a very comfy brief.

Although this set is very simple, the attention to detail is present and I like the lace detailing placement, especially around the band of the bralette. Since I got it, I have been wearing it very often and I think I will continue reaching out to it for quite long. It’s one of the most secure bralettes I have tried so far. It was made with full busted women in mind and checks all the boxes for a great piece of loungewear. It’s not fancy but it’s efficient, cute and utterly comfortable. I highly recommend it!

xoxo
Yours truly,
Wen

  1. That Parfait Dallas bralette with scalloped lace trim looks very pretty. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a lingerie set made of 95% modal and 5% spandex. It sounds like it must feel very comfortable.
I am not a fan of high cut hipster briefs myself. I do like the fact that it looks like the rear seam of the gusset is curved and more generous than some brands that do straight-across sewing.
It would be nice if Parfait carried a a matching full coverage high-waisted brief in the 95% modal and 5% spandex.
I do like the Parfait brand and have purchased pairs of the full coverage Parfait Charlotte High Waist Brief Panty (95% Polyester, 5% Elastane) before, but never got around to reviewing them yet. Nicki Minaj did model them though in an article in the Lingerie Journal: https://thelingeriejournal.com/nicki-minaj-wears-parfait/
I agree about the sizing. For me, I would want to size up.
You look fabulous showcasing the That Parfait Dallas lingerie set!!!
