So my mum told me recently that people are now dressing weird and wearing pajamas outside the house. I have to say my mum and I have a very different point of view when it comes to fashion but I love how she reports on new trends as if fashionistas were the weirdest beings on earth. This gave me the idea to do some weekly reports on fashion trends and pieces I currently think are cute. I haven’t decided yet if I will focus on a lower budget or simply mix the price ranges. These products are selling fast so you might not find your size but if you do it’s also a good price point!

I honestly love slips as loungewear, sleepwear and outerwear. Think of all the possibilities of styling! It might sound a bit narcissistic and vain but isn’t it great to come across your reflexion on a casual Sunday and see the light hit your satin dress just in the right places? It’s one of the best pick me up after a week of hard work ahaha! I just love being dressed up at any given time. <3

I loooove slips. I only wear them as sleepwear or as under clothing (as a lining layer for my sheerer garments), but if I ever find a good strapless bra, I’d consider wearing them as summer dresses too.
Oh yes! I still haven’t tried those unpadded strapless bras but they would be perfect under fluid slips this summer!! I want to try Adina Reay’s ones!
All eight of these slips look very pretty and fashionable.
I can easily imagine them being worn as outerwear in the heat of the summer, whether at home or elsewhere.
I especially love the sheen and pink colour of the Asos satin tie maxi-slip,
the inset black lace with the red satin Hunkemoller chemise,
and the sheer elegance of the Savage X Fenty Glisenette slip dress.
The Peek + Beau Lee lace chemise looks extremely pretty.
I think the Boux Avenue floral chiffon chemise would be fabulous as summer outerwear,
as would the Antigel Onde graphic slip.
They all look lovely.
